Now this Seattle winter elopement was one for the books. Ok, picture this – it’s Friday and you decide that you want to ELOPE TOMORROW in the middle of the winter in Seattle. So what do you do? You gather your closest family and friends, officiant, and photographer; you somehow have this beautiful dress and perfectly altered suit; and you elope on a dock with the Seattle skyline enveloping you. And this, my friends, is exactly what April and Mohamed did. Talk about exhilarating! This was a such a sweet and intimate elopement on a dock, and it was perfect for this couple. This was the dock that April had grown up fishing at with her late father, and was already one of her favorite spots. For her to be able to elope here was such an incredible memory. And guess what, the sun peeked out and it wasn’t horribly cold or cloudy! I call that a miracle.
First, we gathered everyone on the dock for a sweet and simple ceremony. Then, of course, photos of families and friends. Finally came the fun part – couples portraits! We explored the beach, surrounding buildings, and docks. As we walked around, we chatted about life goals and how they were going to celebrate finally being married. It was such a relaxing and enjoyable session. Wow, what a photogenic couple, what a beautiful family, and what a special day. Congratulations to April and Mohammed!
