LINCOLN MEMORIAL, DC
Ok, this spot is just so versatile. On one side of the memorial, you can see the Potomac and parts of Virginia in the distance. KENNEDY ART CENTER, DC
It’s my absolute favorite to photograph at this spot in the early morning. There are massive willow trees lining this breathtaking building. With columns on one side and the Potomac on the other, you’re in the perfect place for grandiose photographs.
NATIONAL CATHEDRAL, DC
Another rustic spot! This also has a waterfront area, with a dock, bridge, and boats! We can walk towards the city and get photos of the cobblestone road, stunning row houses, and cute light blue lighthouse, and lots more! It’s a great path to start from Roberdeau Park and make our way up to the Old Town Alexandria Harbor!
JEFFERSON MEMORIAL, DC
Ooo this one is so fun! You can walk along the Tidal Basin before you ascend the steps of the Jefferson. These magnificent white columns will make your photos so elegant and classy!
CONSTITUTION GARDENS, DC
Oh, I love this spot! There are gorgeous willow trees lining the pond that lead into Signers Island. Here, you’ll have stunning greenery paired with views of the Washington Monument! Snuggled right in the National Mall, this garden is the intersection of bustling DC and greenery!
MEADOWLARK BOTANICAL GARDENS, VA
This is a large garden located in Vienna. Boasting a variety of views, from trails, ponds, trees, gazebos, and atriums, this garden has every kind of view you can hope for!
BON AIR ROSE GARDEN, VA
I cannot believe a garden like this is free! Every spring, every type of rose blossoms in this garden. There are pink roses, red roses, itty bitty roses, and gargantuan roses. It’s absolutely stunning to take photos under the rose-covered arches.
GREEN SPRINGS GARDEN, VA
This is a sweet garden in Fairfax, VA and it has a cute gazebo surrounded by huge, green trees! There’s a path that encircles the entire garden and takes you from fields, to flower gardens, and a historic house!
GEORGETOWN, DC
Ok, this spot has it ALL! I love starting at the Georgetown Waterfront Park, where we’ll take photos by the water with the Francis Scott Key Bridge in the background. We’ll also grab a few photos in the beautiful green grass and trees! Then, we can make our way by the C&O canal towards the beautiful, historic row houses. As we walk, we’ll cross rustic buildings, cobblestone roads, and stunning flowers and trees.
OLD TOWN, ALEXANDRIA, VA
